On March 26, 2017, a nighttime robbery of a marijuana dispensary in Phoenix, Arizona
was committed by a group of three armed men. The burglary took place inside Bloom Dispensary close to where Washington Street intersects with 44th Street.
Local police, collating information from eyewitness accounts, describes the three assailants as six-foot-tall black males that likely weigh around two hundred pounds. The public is asked to help provide information on the burglary and identification of the medical marijuana dispensary
robbers, who were recorded on security cameras as they intruded on the premises. Any tips are to be sent through the phone number 480-WITNESS.
According to the police, two of the three men waited in hiding behind the building while a third entered the building to unlock its back door from inside. However, the door was locked by an employee after the third man left, defeating what appeared to be an effort to allow the other two to stealthily gain access to the business' back room wherein money was stored.
One of the other two men entered the building roughly an hour later and held up a gun at the employees inside. At gunpoint, the employees were coerced into leading him into the room containing the money and giving it to the robber. The man then fled the scene with his two accomplices.
